Chapter 8 of the Magic of Thinking Big is so far one of my favorite chapters. It discusses about making attitudes your allies and how to improve in this area.
I am really enjoying reading this book and I hope these short recaps are an effective way to keep your thinking straight!
What’s Your attitude Like today?
Also, Do you want me to continue doing these after this series?
Also, Would you be willing to pay for a service like this?
And what do you feel is a fair price for me to read books and recap them for you?

Hi Sam,
My mood today is ho-hum. In answer to your questions, I do enjoy the videos & would like for them to continue. Truthfully, I’m not in a position to pay for them though & I have no idea what a fair price would be.

Hey Sam ,
what’s your adding like?

It’s the second time the system wants to make me believe I’m loony
Or how do you add 3 and 3 ?

Hi Sam,
I love what you are doing with these videos. I don’t know what a fair price would be for continuing them, and unfortunately I have other things I need to spend money on before I would consider paying for them.

Then my first comment and description of my ‘old-school’ way of reading and learning got lost in the universe?
I almost expected that - as two of my testimonials vanished somewhere in the same direction in May.
Let me know if you caught any of them ,Sam.
Keep going!

Hi Sam
I enjoy the videos!
They’re great blog bait, and they’re good for my health, like an apple a day…
I appreciate and understand you wanting to monetize this service - it is a great service for those who feel that they do not have the time to read etc.
To be honest, I personally would not pay for such a service, but I wish you all the best for whatever course of action you choose to take.

Hi Sam
I work on waking with a good attitude by saying my self talk as soon as I realize I am awake. I wake before everyone else so I can sit in the silence and set myself up for a good day.
I like the video’s I t presents a different view on not only the book but I like how you mix in the 16 steps. Would I pay for for this? I dont think so, I read some of the same books so paying for a video summize not really.
A fair price I’m not sure, Bob Proctor and Jim Rohn as a pretty penny for some of thier stuff.
Should you keep doing them, I think so. It seem to keep the 16 steppers aware.
Thanks for all you do!

Sam,
I know videos are the new hot thing, but they just don’t work for me. It is a learning style issue for me. I am not an auditory learner, I need to SEE or DO to learn. Hearing information is a distraction and difficult for me to retain. Although it looked like a great day to be broadcasting from your deck, it didn’t supplement the learning but distracted from it. I wanted to be out in the sunshine too! For me, video has to have visual content to reenforce the auditory. Even a couple of shots edited in of key points would have helped me.
I usually avoid web videos in general. I don’t watch them at all unless recommended by someone I know. I don’t watch the free ones so I wouldn’t be watching the ones requiring a fee.
I really appreciate your enthusiasm for the topic and for supporting your followers. If there was another way to harness your recap information and your enthusiasm that might be a winner. Written cliff notes maybe or a mini webinar that allowed dialog and interchange?

Great idea! I read that book years ago and it was awesome then and great to hear you reading the book now.

Hi Sam,
These videos are valueable to your
target market who are in need of
motivation, are filled with fear,
lack self esteem, are depressed and
so on…
What would be an advantageous
method is to use the WordPress
feature to allow people to subscribe
to —– reading library.
So to answer your question, I do
believe there’s a market out there
especially now with life… To have
it as a membership… $9.99 per
month and to make it physical
you can upsell to an mp4 player
where they can have the videos
where ever they go…
Sam, the best place to ask this
question Yahoo Answers. ;o)
I learned something about market
research from some guy last month!
Much success!
Won’t Be Denied,

Hi Sam
I really enjoy your videos.
At this time I could not buy them.
I think there is a market for this, but there are several good sites that give book summaries on the net. What can be different is your take on each chapter like you are doing. you could probably sell them for about the same price as a book. People like to listen in their cars etc.
If you are talking to the 16 steppers you may be preaching to the choir. I would guess, though we love to be built up, many of us are a go-geter already and have many of these type of books in our own library.
I do think it is a great way to enhance your blog. It will bring people back. It makes me come back…

Hi Sam
Wonderful job on the videos! It’s a good reminder to me at present because of some personal challenges.
Yes, I think it’s worthwhile recapping a book you read into video form. So many people are too busy to read nowadays. So please continue doing this if you’re able to.
Regarding payment, personally I would pay for something like this if it comes with more content either in the form of bonuses or other forms.
Take care and thanks again!

Hi Sam,
I do enjoy these videos and I think a lot of people do. I think I would still get more out of reading the book then I get from these videos. But then again, it would take me a lot more time also.
Personally, I would not pay for these videos, but I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who would.
Whatever you decide to do with this, keep up the great work!

I agree, very interesting indeed. My attitude is positive today. I think the videos are great, very positive! I would pay for something like this. As far as how much - if it’s something I feel I want I would pay whatever it costs. We all know we can all afford it - it’s just what our priorities are and what we “want” to afford. Sometimes we have to spend money to make money!

Hi Sam,
My attitude today, isn’t a true reflection of what it is overall. Having a ” blip ” today, as a friend got some pretty lousy health news. Just a pause for a moment, in the overall feeling of being very fortunate and grateful and postive about opportunies. Gotta get my balance back.
I would greatly enjoy your continuning the series. You have a good ability to capture information, apply it to your own learning and synthesize it into more. Which is very worthy of consideration into a knowledge-learning based model. It can pay handsomely to pay to educate and expand your mind.
As to a subscription to content like this. My thoughts are not as a stand-alone-product, would I, right now, go for it.
More so as an asset in conjuction to another property, perhaps. One aspect I see to consider is the demand for volumes of content ( done by one person ) vs. the pricing. It could, perhaps, well complement audio books. Still be leads to the blog, as supplement to other products, gifts, bonuses, lead generation. Or perhaps be an add-on to a related site model. Gain popularity and rise out of that on it’s own in a unique model.
Just thoughts I had, certainly would be other ways to see this. But I did entertain a managable project that could be scaled over time.
Good luck with what you decide. And, thanks again for these videos as well as the excellent job you did during the 16 Steps training.

Hello Sam,
It’s been some time since I could get out of my “learning and building the information base ” mode for this new DNA thing which is perfectly in line with the direction I was heading.
Attitude? I can’t stop thinking of what to do next. Often my body no longer wants to move but my mind is still working away. Therefore the drive for success is paramount, but family welfare still comes first.
Just an opinion - while motivational audio or video books are really on the way up (that’s 16 Steps Research talking), I found that the big sellers are highly emotionally charged. It’s not really the words but the way it was said and presented with powerful images.
For example, powerful motivational energy can be captured while delivering in front of a lot of people - Maven style. And deep emotions can be delivered with a quiet message with smooth music and powerful images. And use just quick clips of yourself - Guru style.
I’m still trying to put something like this together, but it sure takes some organizing!
I hope I’ve helped.

HI Sam,
Well my attitude today is very good, inspiring and uplifting. Things are looking up.
I enjoyed listening to the video clips of a book because at times I done have the time to enjoy a good book like the one you are doing. Listening to you talk about the book just gives me the important parts without me going through the whole thing.
Would I consider paying for such a program. I think if there was a membership and a variety of different books that I could select from where I still have the flexability and control of when I could listen without feeling obligated to listening every day then I might consider something like this.
The price might be something conparable to an audio book club or audio books.
I do enjoy them and I think that I would remember them more if I had little reminder emails letting me know about the next one coming up, people forget things very easy especially with our busy lives.
I hope that has helped.

Sam,
I have enjoyed and learned an awesome amount of information during the 16 Steps, you’re niche is evident. I especially enjoy the attitude talk.
Attitude is everything, if you think there’s know way to succeed, so, it shall be!
There are some contradictions in your videos though.
Overall the videos are good, but I must ask you something? Who is your target audience and what about not trying to convince.
I would love to make enough money to pay off any debt I have and open a homeless shelter/job training center for OUR COUNTRYMEN and WOMEN.
Thank You for caring
Chris

Hi Sam,
Sorry I have not been able to check this out sooner… (see attitude below)
What’s Your attitude Like today?
Positive…. but still way too busy….
Also, Do you want me to continue doing these after this series?
I think you are doing a great job with the series, and I enjoy watching them (don’t have time to read the book…) It would be nice if you were to continue, but of course it depends on how it fits with your plans and the practicality of it!
Also, Would you be willing to pay for a service like this?
As a stand alone, probably not, as an inclusion of a broader related service or product most definitely. Having said that I do think they have value… Just can’t see it going well as a stand alone fee based service….
And what do you feel is a fair price for me to read books and recap them for you?
Given my earlier response this is a difficult one. On their own… I don’t know, as a part of a program that included other aspects, workbooks, maybe make the videos downloadable, include audio and pdf and perhaps other self improvement resources…. perhaps $27 to $47 a month depending.
One other comment. I find sunglasses a bit off putting when I am watching someone speak (of course I realize there are some reasons why that is necessary as with sight impaired individuals, and glare outside is a problem).
It is probably just a personal preference, but just thought I would mention it….. We can’t see those smiling eyes
Will be interested to see what your decision is.
Cheers,
Lynne
