Another Great Free Research Tool

March 24th, 2008 · 10 Comments

I just got off the phone with a friend from California and we were talking about market research and in the mist of the conversation my memory synapses fired and brought back a very cool tool I have forgotten about. KWBROSE.COM

KWBrowse This tool takes your phrase you are looking at and pulls out associated phrases that are linked to it. This is VERY important in looking at how things tie together within a market.

You will also see related phrases on the right as well.

You can click on anyword in the graph and it will give you a new representation of the phrase based on the word you just clicked on.. Pretty cool Eh?

Remember though. Google is King of the database world. Take your phrases and go to Google and see what Searches related comes from them. They will save you hours of research and give you exactly what is most popular based on what people are looking for.

It is NOT about us…It is about them and what they are searching for. It is our job to deliver to them and give them what they want :) If you know what they want, you will be able to structure your site in a way that they will like (good navigation) and be able to capture the most traffic.

    Hi Sam
KWBrowse really is a great research tool.
    The correct link is http://www.kwbrowse.com/netraid.html?dom=intekusa.com
rather than what you had above.

I was wandering all over the place and wound up at a baseball players site.

    Huh?

Now that you put me on the “right path” I’m going to go play with that gem. :)

Sam I found that link to the KWBrowse using a free browser call Niche browser - You can use it to find arcticles, video, news stuff, rss feeds, loads of stuff. I’m sure people would find it useful for what 16 steps is going to acheive for people.

    Kind regards

I think another must for ALL bloggers is to use Google’s new blog search (still in beta) at http://www.google.com/blogsearch?hl=en

Enter your key words to see your competitors blogs, you can then see what they are doing, some of your competitors sites will have open comments to their blog which already has a high PR, You can then make a comment with a link back to your blog.

So if your niche was “Golf accessories” find a high ranking blog and post a comment on their blog with a relevant link about your golf accessories.

Finally an important note is your post should be helpful to the community and not just an advert for blog or site.

When I say helpful I mean follow, the comments and if you have something relevant to say then sure fire your comment.

This will gain you page rank to your new blog or web site.
